Fuelwood - Wholesale Pricing
We offer delivery of hardwood fuel wood by the truckload using our dump truck or our large tractor trailer. All of our loads consist of northern hardwoods excluding aspen or poplar.
Points to consider when having a load of wood delivered:
- The size of the load of wood. We encourage the use of the dump truck.
- Access to your property.
- Features to be avoided on your property such as septic systems, low power lines, culverts.
- We are not responsible for property damage beyond the curb.
- The NH Division of Forest & Lands measures weight equivalent of a standard 128 cubic foot cord shall be 5,200 pounds for hardwood.
- Best time to deliver wood.
- Payment is due upon delivery in the form of cash or check made to Fort Mountain Trucking Company.
- Ask about our multiple load discount on 3 or more loads.
- No out of state delivery due to weight restrictions.
Dump Truck loads consist of:
- 16 ft logs.
- Average load has 3.5 cord of wood.
- Truck is 25 feet in length.
- Be aware of features on your property that could hamper the delivery of your wood.
- Best choice for the homeowner who burns a few cords of wood a year.

Tractor Trailer loads consist of:
- Tree length logs.
- Average load has 12 cord of wood.
- Tractor trailer configuration is 65 feet long. This vehicle needs alot of room to turn around.
- Be aware of features on your property that could hamper the delivery of your wood.
- We will charge mileage for undeliverable loads of wood.
- This is a large load of wood; not for the faint of heart.
