            Welcome Billy Kunelius

July 2009

As promised, we will continue to share information that we find interesting with our customers, suppliers, and friends.

Billy Kunelius Forest Technician Intern We would like to welcome Billy Kunelius to our crew for the summer. Billy will be assisting Patrick Kenney, our forester, with his day to day duties.

Billy was happy to share some information about himself with us as follows. "The woods have always been a part of my life. From being the largest play area for a young boy, to my current and ongoing hobby and business of producing maple syrup, the forest has played an important role in my development."

Billy scaling wood in our Allenstown concentration yard."After working full time for four years in farming I decided to return to school to pursue a degree in Forest Technology at the Thompson School of Applied Science at the University of New Hampshire. I am currently working toward my Associates degree. One aspect of the Thompson school I really benefit from is that we immediately apply what we have learned in the classroom out in the field during lab times."

"Being able to intern at Fort Mountain Companies is a great opportunity for me to work everyday with experienced forestry professionals and to utilize what I have learned while increasing my knowledge of the forestry industry."

Having Billy as a part of the crew is an asset to our company. We look forward to working with him this summer.

Your friends in the forest,

Jeff & Crews
